Relying on School of Central South University and Engineering Research Center of Department of Education for Advanced Battery Materials, we have introduced and cultivated a large number of senior engineering and technical talents with rich engineering experience, set up a R&D team with 1 academician, and established an enterprise technology R&D center integrating R&D, development and evaluation. Specifically, R&D covers the materials, devices and power management systems for lithium-ion power batteries and super capacitor batteries. We have formed a R&D system featuring "Sound system, reasonable structure, capable and efficient, and coordinated operation".

Kingco is the lead undertaking unit of the "Research and Application of Key Materials and Devices for Power Supercapacitor Battery Systems" Project in the 11th Five-Year Plan supported by National Science and Technology Ministry. In addition, Kingco has taken on a number of provincial-level industry-related technological innovation and industrialization projects.

At present, our core technologies include: inorganic coating technology with independent IP rights, high energy density battery design and industrialization technology, BMS functional design and management technology, power battery intelligent IoT industrialization technology, and battery pack design and Industrialization technology for lightweight batteries. Specifically, the ternary lithium-ion power battery based on inorganic coating technology with independent IP rights has the most advanced level of security in China. Our company's ternary li-ion battery cells designed with this independent patented technology can completely pass the acupuncture test. We have applied for more than  national invention patents and patents for utility models in terms of the materials and devices of lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and supercapacitor batteries.
