With the official implementation of the national standards for electric bicycles on May 15, 2019, the industry of electric bicycles and electric motorcycles has started the mode of "plumbic acid for lithium”, and the manufacturers of supporting lithium batteries have also drove into the "fast lane”.

We, as the earliest domestic company specializing in the R&D, production and manufacturing of ternary lithium batteries used in electric bicycles and electric motorcycles, own a number of
national patents and industrialized technologies in this application field and serve as a qualified supplier and a stable business partner of a number of leading electric vehicle companies in China. In order to further meet the ever-increasing sales volume and market demand, our senior management decided to expand the production lines.

The kick-off meeting for the production line expansion project was officially held in the company's large conference room on November 1, 2019. The meeting was chaired by General Manager, Mr. Zou Keqin, and participated by the heads of departments (e.g., engineering, equipment, purchasing, logistics and finance), concerned engineers and technicians, and Chairman of the board, Mr. Zeng Zuo. At this meeting, special project teams were set up; the total budget amount invested in the expansion, the content of each specific project, the special responsible persons and the completion time were specified.

In order to successfully complete the task of expanding the production lines, each person in the project team has been assigned with responsibilities. Before the CNY, the team selected the models of the main equipment, made evaluations and inspected the suppliers on the site. Based on the technical specifications and the existing site of each supplier, the team has constantly adjusted and optimized the construction drawings and fulfilled the tasks of the first stage.

In face of the sudden outbreak of COVID-19, we, one of the first enterprises to resume production in Hunan Province, have actively returned to work while ensuring anti-epidemic measures. Under the call of “Pursue quality, speed up progress, guarantee safety, and ensure that the expansion project is completed on schedule", all the team members are not afraid of going through hardships and work overtime to follow up the detailed work. Despite the shortage of construction personnel and the late arrival of equipment due to COVID-19, we still insist on making proper arrangements of water, electricity, gas, other auxiliary facilities and construction conditions. 

In the warmth of spring, COVID-19 has gradually faded down in March. The equipment suppliers and construction units resumed production, and the expansion project entered the "fast forward" mode. It is the “consensus” of each project team to strive to “make up” the delayed time.

On March 2, the construction of the positive/negative pole material distribution workshop was completed.

On March 4, the construction of the positive/negative pole piece making workshop was completed.

On March 7, the construction of the new pack workshop was completed.

On March 8, the construction of the warehouse was completed.

On March 12, the mixer was installed and commissioned.

On March 15, the waterproofing project was completed.

On March 16, the fire smoke detection and monitoring system was completed.

On March 17, the dehumidifier and the four seal lines were completed.

On March 22, the laser welding machine and the piece making machine were installed and commissioned.

On March 27, the transfer welding machine, pole piece rubberizing machine, negative pole spot welding machine and liquid injection machine were installed and commissioned.

On March 31, the winding machine, the punching machine and the top side sealing machine were installed and commissioned.

On April 3, the coating machine and the pressure conversion cabinet were installed and commissioned.

The expansion project is in full swing. “Gather strength and work hard" is a real reflection of the members of each Kingco project. I believe that, with the joint efforts of all Kingco people, the expansion project will be successfully completed before May 1!
